I finally did it!  Many of my friends have encouraged me to share my writings on a blog, but frankly I’ve been afraid to do that.  First, I know next to nothing about creating and maintaining a blog, and second, I’m afraid of negative comments and reactions that may discourage me from pursuing my life-long dream of writing.

I don’t have the Great American Novel in me, but I do write short stories, life observations, and my memoires.  With this site, KarenReedWoodcock.com,  I will post my musings with the Pondering on the Porch blog.  I hope to eventually share some of my essays and short stories and I would like to create a section to hold my life story.  I hope you enjoy this and please bare with me as this old women struggles to learn the tricks of the trade.
